FWD | Mega Start Kickoff
For this project, the challenges were:
1) Every program segment had to be accompanied with different music, lighting scenes, and visuals.
There were 100+ videos to be played in a short 3 hours.
2) LED screen was 45 meters (L), 5 meters (H). This was not the standard 16:9 aspect ratio.
All videos had to be created to scale.
3) Different visuals had to appear on the LED screen and projection screens around the room at the same time.
For each screen, multiple layers were requried.
During planning phase, the key word was to simplify.
After getting the client's requirements, to scale drawings of the screen were prepared.
Each drawing detailed the assets to be played, and all technical details.
The drawings helped to facilitate discussions with the client.
They ensured that we did not miss any detail during discussions with the video editor and technical team too.
For screen management, Barco E2 media server was used to fulfill the requirements for multiple layers, multiple inputs and outputs.
We successfully pulled off the show and fulfilled our client's requirements for audio, visual, lighting.
